JCat

JCat is a solo pop music performance artist whose songs explore the universal themes of hope, love, fear, distress, and loneliness. His unique relationship with performance delivers a refreshingly sincere visual and emotional experience that matches the heart-felt honesty of his music. While he has been creating music for much of the last two decades, it wasn’t until he had a dream of David Bowie that JCat began to flourish into the dynamic and evocative artist he is today. As a performer, he is truly one-of-a-kind. He “hears” as he performs, meaning that every movement he makes is divined from a connection he feels to the world around him. He never rehearses his dances for they are never the same twice. While he once shied away from, what he calls, these “odd” gestures, he now views them as being an integral part of his performance - a way of healing and forming a deeper connection with his audience.

Most recently, JCat released his album “A Trip to Vacationland” with an accompanying live film boldly recorded in just one consecutive take. Click here to watch the trailer now.
